چکیده

Based on the analysis of influence roll vibration elastoplastic deformation state a workpiece in rolling process, dynamic force model with hysteresis effect is established. Taking parameters 1780 mm hot mill as an example, we analyzed between and displacement by varying speed, radius, entry thickness, front tension, back strip width. Under considering nonlinear backup work rolls well structural constraints mill, hysteretic vertical four-high was The amplitude-frequency equations corresponding to 1/2 subharmonic resonance 1:1 internal were obtained using multi-scale approximation method. characteristics system different studied through numerical simulation. parametric stiffness found have significant amplitude system, bending degree curve, size region. Moreover, change stiffness, exhibited evident jump phenomenon. Finally, chaotic studied, behavior verified bifurcation diagram, maximum Lyapunov exponent, phase trajectory, Poincare section. Our research provides theoretical reference for eliminating suppressing chatter mills subjected deformation.

Rolling conditions in hot strip mills and their influence on the performance of work rolls

The mechanical rolling conditions in hot strip mills are precisely defined by various variables, which are taken directly froth the rolling schedule (separation force, torque. speed. strip thickness) or calculated from figures of the rolling schedule and dimensions of the mill (strip reduction, roll diameter etc.). These variables allow to describe the mechanical rolling conditions of all passe...

Metallurgically Consistent Determination of Steel Hot Strength Using Process Data from Hot Strip Mill Rolling

It is not rare to observe an inverse relationship between hot strength determined from rolling load of the finishing stands of the hot strip mill and strain. This situation was already described in the literature and is explained by the use of inverse rolling load models that assumes sticking friction in the determination of hot strength. The aim of this work was to show that this “work softeni...
